Jamie Smart

|
|
Jamie Smart is our
Managing Director, Founder of Salad and general NLP genius. Jamie is a
highly skilled and experienced SNLP-accredited NLP trainer. He has been
taught by some of the best NLP trainers out there, including Richard
Bandler, John Grinder, John LaValle, Robert Dilts, Eric Robbie, Jo Cooper,
Peter Seal, Ian McDermott, Joseph Riggio, Sid Jacobson, and Jonathan
Altfeld to name but a few.
Jamie believes that
his skill can only grow as he continues to learn from those he respects,
and that in order to train Salad’s clients to the best of his ability he
has a duty to keep researching and learning for himself, gathering new
skills and honing old ones.
He excels at
passing on his unique skills in our intimate training setting and loves
the work he is able to do with the clients that pass through Salad’s
doors. He teaches with a blend of humour, compassion and wisdom that is
exceptional in his chosen field.
Jamie believes in
giving a thorough grounding of the complete NLP skill set, which is why
our Practitioner and Master Practitioner trainings are each taught over
the course of 15days. He has such a rich understanding of NLP,
gathered from all his teachers, that he believes it is only through such
intensive and thorough training that he can pass on everything he has
learned. He will never accredit someone as a Practitioner or Master
Practitioner until he is 100% happy that they can practice every skill he
teaches with dexterity and competence.
As well as being
the creator of Salad’s Ericksonian Hypnosis CardsTM,
Jamie writes a free, weekly NLP tip which goes out on the internet.
It currently has over 20,000 subscribers, and the numbers are rising every
week. He is also the creator of the NLP ‘pizza-walk’ experience, which
many trainers now use with great success.
Jamie’s background
is in IT, first as a computer programmer and then rising through the ranks
to become a first class project manager, working to bring in multi-million
pound corporate projects on time (mostly) and on budget. He is still
sought after for his project management skills today, despite having been
working exclusively with NLP for a number of years now.
Jamie came to the U.K. from Canada some years ago, and has been here ever
since. He lives with his two daughters and assorted pets, in Hinckley,
Leicestershire

Nikki Owen
nikki.owen@saladltd.co.uk
Managing Director |
 |
|
Nikki is Salad's Managing Director.
Nikki is the calm hub around which the rest of the Salad wheel revolves. She's been with Salad since January 2005 as Jamie's PA, and also manages the administration team and is preparing to become MD at the end of this year. While she has never trained formally as a juggler, her innate ability shows itself in her skill at managing everything from web design and marketing campaigns to office moves and organising Jamie. She comes to us from a background in Office Management and PA support in many interesting industries from Insurance to boxing promotions!
Nikki lives in Leicester with her husband Rich and their 2 cats Sully and Bruno, following their wedding in June this year.
When she's not doing Salad stuff, she loves to travel and has recently visited both Egypt & Goa. She has also just returned from her honeymoon in the Maldives.

Sheila Lyon
Sheila@saladltd.co.uk
Administrative Assistant |
 |
|
Sheila is one of Salad’s administrators and a valuable addition to
the Salad team. She comes to us from an admin position within a firm of IFA’s and although she finds Salad’s haphazard way of doing things crazy
making she admits that she’s never had so many interesting stories to tell
her friends.
Although Sheila is a
fine administrator, her heart is in her healing and she is a top class
reflexologist, specialising in a method known as metamorphic technique.
If you ever visit the Salad offices, make sure to pin her down and book a
treatment. It’s awesome stuff.
When she’s not sorting
things out at Salad and fixing feet, she likes to walk and is a keen
gardener, having spent twelve months re-landscaping her own garden. She
also travels and has recently come back from a trip to all of America’s
national parks.

Serena Stean
serena@saladltd.co.uk
Marketing / Administration Assistant |

|
|
Serena is another one of Salad’s
administrators and a valuable addition to the Salad team, spending
most of her time supporting Nikki. She comes to us after returning
from a 3 month trip to Fiji where
she worked on a conservation project surveying the coral reefs,
living on the beach of perhaps one of the most remote islands in the
world. Before that she had completed a degree
in psychology
at Plymouth University and is considering undertaking a Masters
course some time in the future.
When she’s not sorting things out
at Salad her
main passion is scuba diving, hopefully next year finding the time
to complete her Divemaster qualification in warmer waters than that
of the UK. Serena lives with her boyfriend, Bugs, in the Leicestershire countryside and
together they enjoy walking in the country, arguing about music,
travelling
and eating good food.

Sharon Sullivan
sharon@saladltd.co.uk
In-house Coach/Project Manager |
 |
Sharon is Salad's in-house coach and Project Manager. She has been a huge help to Nikki in helping to get mynlpresources.com up and running.
Sharon is a gifted coach and trainer who started learning NLP in 2005, & has been “hothousing” her skills with Salad Seminars Ltd since 2006, when she did Master Practitioner Training. Last year she participated in Dr. Christina Hall's Trainer Training and is now an NLP Trainer Associate. She has assisted on virtually all of the Salad NLP training courses in recent years, and is now delivering some segments of those courses.
Sharon is a valuable addition to the team, bringing with her a wonderful energy, a caring nature and is constantly making us laugh!
Sharon’s background is in Category Marketing Management and HR & Training within large corporate blue chip companies.
Sharon lives with her teenage children in Wootton Bassett near Swindon. When she’s not training, coaching or driving to and from Leicester, she can be found in live music venues and, despite much mickey taking, has a particular liking for rock tribute bands.

Christina is a seasoned
international trainer with over
thirty years of experience in NLP.
She started her own training in NLP
in 1977, with co-originators Bandler
and Grinder, & became one of
the first trainers of NLP in 1980 (she's been training NLP for
over 25 years, & is recognised as
one of the most highly skilled NLP
Trainers in the world).
Christina collaborated with Richard Bandler
for 10 years (5 of them as
his apprentice & protege). During
that time, their collaborations
produced many of the most well-known
developments of NLP, including
Submodalities, The Swish Pattern,
The Compulsion Blowout Technique &
many others.
In
fact, Bandler made her a
Meta-Master Trainer of NLP,
to acknowledge her extraordinary
ability, artistry & contribution to
the field.
In addition, Christina was
instrumental in the creation of many
of the Sleight of Mouth patterns,
the most powerful tool there is for
conversational belief change (I'm
good at Sleight of Mouth, but
Christina is astonishing!)
She is
a licensed psychotherapist, a
Certified Hypnotherapist, & holds a
Doctorate in Psychology and Neuro-Semantic
Linguistics.
She is most well-known for her incredible
expertise in the areas of language &
time, & is the creator of
Neuro-Systemic Linguistics.
Christina is 'the language master',
& the person who I am continuing to
develop my linguistic skills with as
her student. She is quite literally
"the trainer's trainer"
